Aleph is an Open Source software that can store huge datasets and make them searchable in a collaborative but secure way. It is mostly known for the public instance offered by the Organized Crime and Corruption Project (OCCRP), but any organization and research team can have it's own, exclusive and independent instance of it.
We operate and manage it all for you.

We own our physical servers and partner with FlokiNET to have servers outside of the EU for all your independent security needs down to the legal jurisdiction.
We don't bill our managed services by minute of usage, number of users or exact amount of storage as the usual cloud providers do. Instead, we bill monthly lump sums for “all in one” packages making Aleph accessible for organizations without the worry of unexpected storage costs over night.
The decision about whether or not to start a new investigation should not be influenced by a cloud provider's bill.
